Our Story

Well we are those folks who had several opportunities to go abroad and find the greener grass but something kept us held back in our soil. Having worked as specialist consultants in over 40 clinics, we noticed the glaring need for ‘better’ dentistry in our country. It is here that we found our calling to implement the best dentistry available in the world for the people of our country.

Dr.Praveen Rajesh

Root Canal Specialist

In India, a huge number of patients receive poor quality dental treatment and are forced to live with it. With a vision to provide world class dental treatment to each and every patient, Dr. Praveen has embarked upon a journey to preach and practice high quality evidence based dentistry in everyday practice. He has an eye for microscopic details and cannot stand any compromise in quality. He has extensive training in microscope enhanced dentistry, which can make any complex dental procedure easy and long lasting.

In addition to practicing Micro-Dentistry at Microsmiles Dental Care, he is also the Clinical lead of ‘Microscopic Dentistry’ unit and visiting Asst Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, SBV University. He is a member of the FODI, IACDE and IDA.

As a father of one naughty boy, Dr Praveen enjoys football and jogging. He also follows his passion as a part time photographer and mentor.

Dr. Kirthiga Muthusamy

Pediatric Specialist

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Kirthiga has seen thousands of kids undergo emotional turmoil due to dental decay and pain. With a vision to eradicate dental decay, she has dedicated her career to teaching, research and treating dental decay in early childhood. She is currently serving as a faculty in charge in the CECCRe, which is Asia’s first dedicated center for Early Childhood Caries in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur. She is a member of the International Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, ISPPD and IDA.

She is trained in conscious sedation which is 100% proved to be safe for use in children. This makes her an expert to handle anxious children. In addition she has also undergone training and is been certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiac life support.

She has won several awards for the best paper, poster and quiz. She has also been nominated for the BITEIN awards in 2014 and FAMDENT awards in 2018. She has been involved as a co-author for Textbook of Pediatric Dentistry, and has been actively involved in paper presentations at National and International forums, writing articles for high impact indexed peer reviewed journals and lecturing at major dental conferences. As a mother of one, Dr Kirthiga enjoys badminton and swimming. She also follows her passion as a part time video jockey.
